Kenneth Nieman (BA - Anderson University; MBA - Ball State University) is the newly appointed Director of Administrative Services, replacing Fredrick Shively who served in this role for the past six years until recently moving, along with his wife Kay, to the West coast to be closer to family. Interestingly, Ken has been involved with the Center since its inception having been recruited by Dr. Glen Cox, the Centers' Founder, to serve as its accountant, a function which will now be incorporated into his role as Director of Administrative Services. Ken currently also serves as part-time Controller for Park Place Church of God with prior work experience with Indiana Univeristy Robert H. McKinney School of Law (five years) and as Anderson University's Director of Student Financial Services for nearly 40 years. Ken is a Certified Plublic Accountant who has worked with a number of other not for profit organizations and has a modest income tax practice which keeps him busy in the months of March and April. Ken is an active member of Park Place Church of God; is married to Vivian; and they have a one son, Nathan.
Dr. Michael Hamm is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor-IN, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist- IN, and an Ordained Minister – Church of God (Anderson, IN). Michael is a therapist with over 25 years of experience. He is also an adjunct professor at Anderson University School of Theology. He specializes in issues related to anxiety/depression, addictions, PTSD, grief/trauma/abuse recovery, relationship issues, faith and spiritual issues.
In 2021, Dr. Hamm was appointed to the position of Case Services Coordinator for the Counseling Center. When potential clients contact the Counseling Center requesting services, Dr. Hamm assigns the perspective client to t he CCC therapist who is best fitted to work with that particular client's/clients' needs. He also coordinates and oversees ongoing training for the therapists associated with CCC.
