Founder and Consulting Therapist
Dr. Glen Cox is a native of Richmond, Indiana and a graduate of the Richmond public school system. He as earned degrees from Anderson University, B.A.; Anderson Theological Seminary, M. Div.; and Christian Theological Seminary, Doctor of Ministry (Pastoral Care and Counseling).
He has maintained a life-long affiliation with the Church of God, being ordained to ministry in 1974. He served as a staff associate pastor from 1973 – 1985 at East Side Church of God in Anderson. His diverse career includes assignments as an associate pastor; interim pastor; adjunct faculty at Anderson University, The Graduate School of Theology, Anderson University, and Trinity Theological Seminary; and conference speaker. Dr. Cox founded the Christian Counseling Center of Madison County in 1985 and served as its Executive Director for 30 years.
He is credentialed in Indiana as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He holds memberships as a Fellow in the American Association of Pastoral Counselors and a Clinical Fellow in the American Association For Marriage and Family Therapy.
He currently maintains limited hours as a general practice psychotherapist with special emphasis in Pastoral Counseling, Premarital Counseling, and Marital Therapy. He is married to Bonita Cox. They are the parents of two adult children.
